In
Stage 5, children are going to learn new sounds
created by two vowels.
They will learn new words of two vowels put together
with Consonant blends or other
consonants (that has been covered in previous stages).
Once children have completed Stage 1
to Stage 5, they can recognize and able to read
the (regular) words which have short vowels, short
consonants, long vowels, consonant blends and double
letter sounds. Reading is closely linked with listening.
If they can read it then they can write it as well.
This helps to relieve them from memorizing the spelling
of every single words. |
